Using Tucson, AZ as a base we explored the Sonoran Desert, travelling to Tucson County Mountain Park, Arizona Sonora Desert Museum, and Saguaro National Park! In several words...captivating, awe-inspiring, serene, peaceful, meditative! There is a sense of quiet here, a stillness that resonates w UR soul if U let it. The desert in these areas captures Ur soul & U become transported to another world, physically, mentally, & spiritually! The people indigenous to these parts regard the desert as beyond special, almost sacred. The ubiquitous Saguaro Cactus literally everywhere, the sentinel & guardian of the Sonoran Desert, referred to as the desert monarch, is regarded by the indigenous people as representing their ancestors in afterlife, when they visit they see their ancestors & families.
